Add Quorum as a custom connector, then convene a panel on the judgement calls in a workbook.
Claude for Excel can add Quorum as a custom connector. The assistant in your workbook can then convene a panel on judgement questions: whether an assumption holds, which of three close options to take, what the model leaves out.
The server URL is the same everywhere:
https://www.quorum.dog/mcpAdd it as a custom connector. In Claude the steps are:
If your connector form asks for a key instead of a sign-in, create an API key on your organization's usage page and send it as a Bearer token. Quorum then offers its 13 tools in Excel. Connector menus change between releases, so check the label names against your version.
In Excel, ask the assistant to call list_modes. The call is free and returns the Modes you can call.
Quorum receives the text the assistant sends. Put the figures that matter in the question.
Start with estimate. It is free, classifies the question and returns deliberation_value, which says whether a panel is likely to help. Then call deliberate with the model QRUM:STAN, which is Standard Mode.
Test an assumption. Summarise the assumption and its context, then ask the panel to attack it.
We model 8% month-on-month new-revenue growth for 18 months.
B2B SaaS, average contract 14k, two-person sales team, no paid
acquisition, 62 customers today. Is that defensible, and what
would have to be true for it to hold at month 12?Break a tie. When a comparison lands within a few per cent, paste the options and the constraints and ask which the panel would take and what it gives up.
Call get_receipt with the request_id to see which models sat and where they split. The split is the useful part.
estimate is free. deliberate is billed on what the call used. A connected app on your plan pays real cost, with no Mode fee.
