Introduction

AI deliberation has proven to positively impact performance across quality, cost or time to process a prompt vs peer group models and higher. Deliberation itself is not a blunt instrument universally improving outcomes. Quorum provides a platform for deliberation where intent can be configured. to customer deliberation modes. Quorum helps you move from an open question to a closed outcome with confidence.

Strong reasoning is not a replacement for deliberation. They are complimentary.

How It Works

Quorum is powered by what we call the Deliberated Output Generator (DOG) — the foundation for quorum.dog.

When you submit a question or prompt, Quorum coordinates multiple independent engines and has them approach the problem from their unique perspectives. Those answers are then debated, challenged, and reconciled through a multi-AI process designed to surface insight rather than noise.

How that deliberation is set up — which engines take which seats, how much critique runs, how many rounds, what the panel is tuned for — is itself a saved, named, shareable configuration. We call one a Mode. Every answer Quorum has ever produced ran inside one, and anyone signed in can build their own.

The seats are filled from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI, among others. Which specific model takes a seat on a given question is Quorum's job and changes as the field moves.

Where they agree

Once the reasoning has stabilized, Quorum synthesizes the work into one coherent outcome and formally locks it. The lock is intentional: it creates a clear end state instead of an endless loop of revisions.

Where they don't

Convergence is only half the value. Where the panel does not agree is often the more useful half — it marks the part of your question that is genuinely contested rather than merely unresolved. Quorum measures that divergence round by round.

Divergence is measured today and surfaced in Panel, where you can also moderate the deliberation yourself. Bringing it forward into Chat is not yet built.

The same underlying generator drives every Quorum experience. What changes is how much of the process you see and how much control you want to exert.

It does typically cost more per call. Measured on our own runs, a deliberated answer costs roughly30% more than a single top LLM call and takes about 15% longer. Two mitigations. When compared up a level (i.e. deliberated Sonnet+2 vs standalone Opus), deliberation can win across time, speed and quality. The larger offsetting argument is about total rounds rather than per-call price: token costs scale superlinearly as a conversation grows — round six with one model is far dearer than round one — so front-loading the disagreement should reach a defensible answer in fewer rounds overall. That is the honest state of it: the per-call premium is measured, and the round-count saving is reasoned rather than measured.
